Darik is a sweet child who is looking for a forever home.
Darik needs a forever family that will be there for him and help him feel safe.
Darik is developmentally on target and has been mostly healthy. Darik enjoys sports. His favorite sport is baseball. He is a very good athlete.
Darik also enjoys playing chess and video games. Darik can be quiet at times and tends to hold things in. He can get frustrated easily and sometimes tries to do things too perfectly. Darik needs help with handling his emotions. He has struggled somewhat in school and needs support and guidance. Darik tends to do better with older or same age children. Darik is in need of a permanent home that is committed to taking care of him in a consistent and loving environment.
